Spirits and liquer
Slovenia and Sardinia are home to excellent distilleries. The Distilleria Rau in the north of Sardinia is known for its excellent Mirto di Sardegna, Limoncello, as well as Grappa, Gin and the famous Amaro Sardo. In the Pleterje Charterhouse in Slovenia we find the finest fruit brandies, such as Slivovka, Obstler and pear brandy, but also the intense juniper brandy and unique monastery spirit. All brandies are made from products from the monastery garden.
