Whether we call it slivovitz, slivovitz, slivovitz or slivovitz, it is always the same: the famous plum brandy. All these very similar-sounding names are derived from the Slavic ‘sljiva’, which means nothing more than plum.

The slivovitz from the Pleterje Charterhouse has an excellent reputation in Slovenia and beyond.

Double-distilled from the monastery's own plums. The naturalness of the production process, combined with an old distilling tradition, results in a fruity and intense plum brandy. The taste is full of the harmony and fruit of fully ripe plums, which is particularly evident when enjoyed neat.
