Torrevento

The Torrevento winery is a model of modern Italian viticulture. The owner, Francesco Liantonio, turned his passion into a profession and left his previous job as a lecturer at the university in Bari to devote himself entirely to viticulture on his parents' estate. On the stony karst soils of the Murgia plateau in Puglia, near the Mediterranean Sea, classic Italian wines of regional varieties of excellent quality are produced.
