Uncomplicated, fresh, quaffable and sparkling with a fine acidity. That is the worldwide unique Cviček. It represents the Dolenjska region in Slovenia like no other wine.

It is often referred to as the ‘Slovenian eccentric’ because it is one of the few wines in the world that is made from both red and white grape varieties. Along with the Tuscan Chianti, Cviček is the only wine in the world with a legally protected composition.

It has a light red colour and is characterised by fresh fruit aromas and a delicate, fresh taste. With only 8.5-10% alcohol and a tangy acidity, it is a great lighter wine for many occasions. According to the inhabitants of the Dolenjska region in Slovenia, the toast ‘Na zdravje’ (eng. ‘To your health’) is more than appropriate with Cviček!

Cviček is suitable for almost any occasion. Bring it to a barbecue in the park or to a hearty snack on a trip into the countryside.

It is not a white wine, it is not a rosé wine, it is not a red wine.

It is simply a Cviček.
