Vinakoper Capris Refosk 2022

A wonderful Refosk – aged for 12 months

This beautiful, intense red wine from Slovenia is harvested by hand at the end of September/beginning of October. After the fermentation is complete, it is aged in large oak barrels and barriques for at least 12 months. In the glass, the intense ruby red colour of the Refosk, with violet nuances, immediately catches the eye. It is very inviting.

Vinakoper Capris Refosk reveals ripe, sweet notes of blackberries, cherries, dried plums and earth, as well as pleasant notes of fine wood. It has a strong taste, but is also fruity and fresh. The freshness combined with the soft tannins results in the unique harmony of a very special wine from Slovenian Istria.

A great, matured red wine at a very good price.
