New in the range since 2020, the orange wine Malvazija selection from the Batic winery. 45 days of contact with the skins, careful aging in barriques. The Malvazija grape is wonderfully suitable for aging as an “orange”. Their skin is very thin and has a relatively low tannin content. In this way, the Malvazija Selection receives the typical orange color and aroma intensity, but at the same time retains its fresh fruitiness. Miha Batic himself does not describe the Malvazija as “matzah”, but rather as mouth-filling. We are happy to go along with that.

The aroma captivates with typical notes of gooseberries, quince, some smoke and citrus fruits. The texture is dense and buttery. In the mouth, however, it feels pleasantly light and soft. With a long finish. An excellent white wine like orange wine for special moments.
