MOVIA Gredic 2021 organic wine

MOVIA Exto Gredic - Tokai Friulano

An absolute specialty from the Brda region, the Green Sauvignon (also Tokai or Friulano). The Movia Gredic was the first Friulano from the young Turno line on the market. The focus of Turno wines is youth and energy compared to the maturity and wisdom of classic Movia wines.

It has a beautiful golden color of medium depth and shows a certain viscosity. Its aroma is pronounced, in line with this medium-aromatic variety. It is reminiscent of tomato leaves, gooseberries, green peppers, dried herbs. The relationship to its big brother Sauvignon Blanc is clearly visible here. In the mouth it is very dry, mineral with a lot of aromatic character and youth. The experience is rounded off by its gentle acids. They create a pleasant freshness.

As is typical for Movia, the Gredic grapes were harvested late when fully ripe and quickly taken to the cellar. After fermentation on our own wild yeasts, the orange wine matures in large oak barrels of 3000L for about 1 year.

Gredic is a varietal orange wine that represents Friulano very nicely. Go on a journey of discovery.
