MOVIA Exto Gredic - Tokai Friulano

An absolute speciality from the Brda region, the Green Sauvignon (also known as Tokai or Friulano). Movia Gredic was the first Friulano from the young Turno line on the market. The focus of the Turno wines is youth and energy compared to the maturity and wisdom of the classic Movia wines.

It has a beautiful golden colour and medium depth, showing a certain viscosity. It has a pronounced aroma, very much in the line of this medium-aromatic variety. It is reminiscent of tomato leaves, gooseberries, green peppers and dried herbs. The similarity to its big brother Sauvignon Blanc is clearly recognisable here. On the palate, it is very dry, mineral and has plenty of aromatic character and youth. The experience is rounded off by its gentle acids. They create a pleasant freshness.

The grapes for the Gredic were picked fully ripe late, as is typical for Movia, and quickly brought to the cellar. After fermenting on its own wild yeasts, the orange wine matures in large 3000-litre oak barrels for about a year.

The Gredic is a typical orange wine that beautifully represents the Friulano variety. Go on a journey of discovery.
