Malvasia in all its splendour

Located in the Goriska Brda region, near the Italian Collio, Edi Simcic cultivates excellent wines with a deep sense of terroir. Only the best grapes were handpicked in the early hours of the morning and brought to the cool wine cellar. After the alcoholic fermentation, the white wine from Slovenia matured for about 10 months on the fine yeast in barriques. The maturation of the white wines in French-style barriques is characteristic of the wine style of the exceptional winemaker Edi Simcic and his son Aleks Simcic.

In the nose, intense aromas of apricot, citrus fruits and peach. Finely rounded off by characteristic vanilla aromas, buttery notes and floral accents. It literally invites you to continue your journey of discovery. On the palate, it shows its full body and wonderful mellowness. The Malvazija literally melts on the tongue. Here we also clearly recognise the terroir of Goriska Brda. The salty minerality and delicate spice, followed by a very long finish, elegantly round off this wine experience from Slovenia.
