The king of dark wines – Refosco from Slovenia

The ‘Rex Fuscus’ is a very special Refosk. It has a deep dark colour. It is full-bodied and ripe despite its young age. The exceptionally fruity aroma is reminiscent of blackberry, raspberry and blueberry. The fresh acidity is very harmoniously integrated. It matured in large oak barrels, which give the Refosk the necessary softness.

The Rex Fuscus Refosk is fruity with a high degree of freshness, which blends wonderfully with delicate tannins to create a harmonious, full-bodied and essential wine speciality from Slovenian Istria.

A historic Vinakoper bottle from 1950 was used as a model for the bottle. This is why it is also very popular as a wine gift.
