Highly aromatic, dry yellow Muscatel from Slovenia

The Rumeni Muskat from Slovenia, from the Vinakoper vineyard, is a very special white wine from Slovenian Istria. The Muscatel grape, aged dry, produces an intense yet very fresh white wine.

The first thing you notice is the bright golden colour in the glass. The aroma is typically rich for the variety, ranging from lemon and grapefruit to candied orange peel, lychee, citrus blossoms and nutmeg.

The taste is characterised by pleasantly light and at the same time fresh notes of citrus fruits, apricots and yellow plums. Combined with a slight tanginess.

It is a wonderful accompaniment to food, but is also a great aperitif on its own!
