Cantine Ceci Lambrusco Secco Terre Verdiane IGT
Lambrusco and Cantine Ceci. These two terms simply belong together, as the winery has long been one of the reference wineries when it comes to the famous sparkling wine from Italy.
For high-quality Lambrusco, which we find in the Emilia Romagna region, the grape must is cooled to approx. 0°C immediately after pressing and remains at this temperature until the final vinification. When this begins, the temperature is increased and pure yeast is added. When the targeted residual sweetness is reached, the fermentation process is interrupted. The Lambrusco is then filtered and bottled.
In the glass, the Lambrusco from the Ceci winery has a deep ruby red colour and a lively perlage. On the nose, it has a very inviting bouquet of red fruits, especially cherries, wild berries and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it has an intense fruitiness, is juicy, beautifully fresh and has pleasant tannins. It is accompanied by a light spiciness and a soft finish.
A Lambrusco just as we like it. Bravo!
