Fruity Malvasia from Istria

The grapes for this Malvazija grew on the Debeli Rtic peninsula near Ankaran in Slovenian Istria. Thanks to the balancing effect of the sea climate, this location is one of the best in Istria, especially for white wines. The Malvasia grapes are traditionally harvested by hand in September.

In the glass, the white wine shows us a golden yellow colour with green highlights. On the nose, a fresh, lively aroma, beautifully typical of the variety. An intense bouquet with hints of tropical fruits and almonds, combining with delicate notes of acacia flowers.

The intense fruity flavour with a tingling acidity and a pleasant softness creates an extraordinarily harmonious wine with the typical bitter almond finish.
