Fine spice, ripe fruit – a very engaging Malvazija from Bregar

The grapes for Bregar Malvazija are handpicked and gently pressed, before maturing on the fine yeast in stainless steel tanks for 6 months.

In the glass, we find the Bregar Malvazija to be a sparkling, bright yellow colour with straw-green highlights. The way the wine slowly slides down the glass already indicates its dense structure. The bouquet is floral, with notes of a blooming meadow, ripe white peaches, citrus fruits, herbs, baked apples with cinnamon and vanilla. Refreshing and warming at the same time.

On the palate, it is equally full-bodied and ripe. Notes of fruit compote, especially quince, as well as a pleasant minerality and a great harmony between alcohol and acidity. The aftertaste is long and clear, with hints of ripe fruit.
