Sauvignonasse, also known as green Sauvignon, is a regional white wine variety from the Goriska Brda in Slovenia, known for its special aroma structure. At the Klet Brda wine cooperative, all grapes are harvested by hand. The Sauvignonasse is then aged entirely in steel tanks.

In the glass, the golden yellow with golden highlights is striking. On the nose, the Sauvignonasse is immediately recognisable. Aromas of meadow flowers, elderberry, pine needles and almonds. On the palate, the minerality comes through, surrounded by only light acidity. Now the Quercus Sauvignonasse also shows its body and the complex aroma structure. The finish is long and, in particular, the almond aroma accompanies us to the end.

With the Quercus Sauvignonasse, Klet Brda has created a white wine that gives us exactly what we are often looking for: independence, new flavours and richness. Chapeau!
