Quercus Rosé Klet Brda 2023

Our first rosé from the Merlot grape variety, produced in Slovenia. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand and the entire vinification process of the rosé wine takes place in stainless steel tanks. The result is a fruity, full-bodied rosé that can be enjoyed as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to a variety of dishes, from pasta to sandwiches.

A light pink colour, the aromas on the nose are berry-like, mainly raspberry and redcurrant, but also cherry and a hint of grapefruit. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, very engaging, velvety, with a pleasantly light acidity. The finish is longer than expected, but the fruity freshness also remains.

The Quercus Rosé from Klet Brda shows that rosé wines do not necessarily have to be light and sparkling. A full-bodied rosé with beautiful fruit and length, it is convincing and enjoyable in every respect.
