Furmint, known as Šipon in Slovenia, produces wonderfully crisp and tangy white wines that are characterised by their elegance and freshness. Matic's Sipon Classic was aged classically in steel tanks and filtered before bottling. This makes it a great natural wine for beginners and simply a lovely fresh white wine.

Tropical notes dominate on the palate, combined with hints of citrus fruits such as lemon and lime. Slovenian white wines made from the Sipon grape variety in this region always create a nice fullness in the mouth, like biting into a lemon cake. This wine is true to the region and to Matic's style, with a lovely salty note on the finish.
