The Kolos from Edi Simcic is what we like to call a ‘flavour prodigy’. It is not stingy with its charms and is almost lavish in the variety of its aromas. A truly great Bordeaux blend. The red wine cuvée from Goriska Brda in Slovenia is composed of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Around 48 months of maturation in barriques contribute to this great red.

The bouquet is one of cherries, cassis, blackberries and rose hips, followed by cedar, tobacco, mocha, smoke and vanilla. Chocolate and herbal notes. Every sniff brings something new and increases the anticipation on the palate. Here it is complex, of spicy fruit and muscular elegance (true to its name) and determined by a perfect tannin structure. It lasts a long time. Endlessly long.
