The Fojana Chardonnay Single Vinyard from Edi Simcic is a distinctive single-vineyard wine, characterised by the terroir of the Goriska Brda wine region in Slovenia and the maturation in barriques. The grapes come exclusively from the excellent Fojana site, which gives the white wine its own character.

A pronounced golden colour in the glass and aromas of stone fruit, tropical fruits such as pineapple, mango and banana, as well as caramel. A true celebration of aromas, accompanied by mineral notes of the terroir.

In the mouth, it is full-bodied, creamy and has a great structure. The Fojana Chardonnay strikes exactly the right balance between alcohol, fruit, acidity and minerality. The finish is long and underlines the class of this Chardonnay from Slovenia.

With this single-vineyard wine, Edi Simcic has created an intense and complex white wine that we could easily find in Burgundy at any time. Combined with the advantages of the terroir of the Goriska Brda region, something new and unique is created. A great wine experience for all the senses.
