A harmonious, full-bodied Chardonnay – a great white wine

The fully ripe Chardonnay grapes are harvested by hand and gently processed. This white wine from Slovenia is aged for 12 months on yeast in used oak barrels. After that, it is left to rest in the bottle for a few more years until it has reached the perfect level of maturity. This process produces a Chardonnay from Goriska Brda in Slovenia with great depth and aromas.

In the glass, a bright yellow with greenish highlights and very good structure as it glides along the glass. On the nose, distinctly fruity with a blend of aromas of citrus fruits, apples, pears, figs and some more exotic pineapple and papaya, but also jasmine flowers, cherries and apples and herbs. Luxurious, warm, all-encompassing in the mouth, very creamy. The fruit turns into jam, accompanied by aromas of roasted hazelnuts and vanilla. At the end, warm spices are added, rounding off the white wine aromatically.

A great Chardonnay that also goes wonderfully with meat dishes and very aromatic foods.
