Bregar Cabernet Franc 2018

Deep, round Cabernet Franc from Goriska Brda

Bregar Cabernet Franc has a deep, ruby red colour. The typical varietal spiciness of black pepper perfectly complements the intense aroma of blackberries, red currants and wild berries. The taste is very fruity, combined with soft yet ripe tannins. The grapes were harvested by hand when fully ripe. The wine was aged partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in barrique barrels, which gives it this pleasant interplay of fruit, ripe tannins and softness.

It is full-bodied on the palate, with a full structure and a long finish. A lovely, well-rounded Cabernet Franc that is an excellent accompaniment to game dishes, as well as roast pork or beef. Try it out!
