From the nectar of the sweet chestnut blossoms in the area and in the nearby forest, the bees produced this strong and delicately scented honey in spring.
The monastery has 45 beehives which are located in the monastery garden. It is mainly produced for our own needs. What is left over is available in the monastery shop. And here.
