Vinakoper Sladki Malvazija 2015

Noble sweet Malvasia from Slovenian Istria

The grapes are harvested by hand when they are overripe, at the beginning of October. When the white wine has reached the desired alcohol level during fermentation, the fermentation process is interrupted by cooling and filtering. The Vinakoper Sladki Malvazija matures partly in stainless steel containers and partly in large oak barrels until bottling.

An intense, radiant golden yellow in colour, the wine has a bouquet of raisins, honey, dried apricots and pears, which combine wonderfully with the scent of acacia flowers, a hint of nutmeg and a citrus note. The taste also reflects the abundant sunshine and noble character of the Istrian Malvasia.

Vinaoper's Sladki Malvasia is a pleasantly sweet wine that offers a wide range of flavours of dried fruit, along with the pleasant taste of almonds and honey. The sparkling acidity combines the flavours into a well-rounded whole.
