Noble sweet Malvasia from Slovenian Istria

Hand-picked grapes, when they are overripe as a late harvest, at the beginning of October. When the white wine has reached the desired alcohol level in fermentation, the fermentation is stopped by cooling and filtration. The Vinakoper Sladki Malvazija matures partly in stainless steel containers and partly in large oak barrels until it is bottled.

Intense, radiant golden-yellow in colour. There is a scent of raisins, honey, dry apricots and pears from the glass, which combine wonderfully with the scent of acacia blossoms and a hint of nutmeg and a citrus note. It also reflects the abundant sun and noble character of Istrian Malvasia in taste.

Vinaoper's Sladki Malvasia is a pleasantly sweet wine that offers a wide spectrum of flavors of dried fruits, which are joined by the pleasant taste of almonds and honey. The sparkling acidity combines the flavors into a well-rounded whole.
