The Capris Merlot from the Vinakoper winery matures for 24 months in large oak barrels and barrique barrels. This gives it a very unique red wine note.

In the glass we see its ruby ​​red color with brick red tones on the edge. After 2 years in large barriques, it regains all its fullness, soft and rich. Its intense bouquet is reminiscent of ripe forest berries, black currants, liquorice, plum jam, sour cherry liqueur, undergrowth in the forest and leather, as well as notes of ripe precious wood. Totally engaging.

On the palate, the fruity aroma of ripe cherries harmonises wonderfully with the minerality and the ripe, sweet tannins. The good, long finish with a pleasant touch of wood gives the wine its noble note.

An intense red wine with great potential from Slovenian Istria at a great price.
