The Chianti Colli Senesi Giobatta from the southern Chianti region of the Tuscan winery Tenimenti Andreucci is a great red wine cuvée, made predominantly from Sangiovese and a small percentage of Canaiolo Nero. The harvest is done by hand and the wine is aged in large wooden barrels.

In the glass, the red wine from Italy shows an intense ruby red colour. On the nose, it is very fruity, with notes of cherries, plums and wild berries, accompanied by aromas of Mediterranean herbs and undergrowth. There are also slight floral notes. On the palate, it is equally fruity and soft, with a beautiful minerality, pleasant tannins and a slight acidity on the finish.

Chianti Giobatta is a well-rounded, balanced and fruity Chianti at an excellent price.
