The Sangiovese grapes used to make the Chianti Costavecchi from the Tenimenti Andreucci winery in Tuscany are carefully harvested by hand before being fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in barriques for 12 months.

In the glass, the Chianti shows an intense ruby red. In the nose, berry notes emerge, especially blackberries and wild berries, but also plums, rounded off by spicy-sweet notes of cinnamon, tobacco and vanilla, as well as light floral aromas. Very elegant and complex. In the mouth, it is very balanced, velvety, engaging with a good tannin structure. Intense, complex, but not too demanding.

The Chanti Costavecchia from Italy is a great all-rounder red wine. A wine that is simply a pleasure to drink.
