Forest honey from Pleterje

The bees produced this mild, spicy and delicately scented honey from the nectar of the trees in the dense forest around the monastery. Forest honey strengthens the blood vessels and the heart.

The monastery has 45 beehives located in the monastery garden. It is produced mainly for our own needs. What is left is available in the monastery shop. And here.
