The noble sweet Refosk from Slovenia – from the treasure trove of Slovenian Istria

Sladki Refosk is made from berries that have been left to dry on the vine. It is a noble sweet wine with a deep violet colour and ruby highlights. This red wine has a clear, intense dark ruby colour, with beautiful violet nuances also visible at the edge of the glass.

The bouquet has an intense fruitiness, with a predominance of ripe red fruits such as blackberry, blueberry and Morello cherry. The beautiful berry aromas leave you wanting more.

On the palate, the Sladki Refosk is sweet, extraordinarily full and rich. The palate is characterised by the same range of ripe fruits that are already present on the bouquet. Thanks to its pleasant acidity and fine tannins, the dessert wine does not appear sweet, but seduces wonderfully in a long and rich finish.

It is best enjoyed well chilled, between 8 and 10 °C.
