The St. Magdalener Schallerhof is a wonderful combination of the two indigenous red wine varieties Vernatsch (90%) and Lagrein (10%). Vernatsch gives the red wine from South Tyrol its well-known aroma, while Lagrein gives it its structure. The Castelfeder winery is now in the hands of the third generation of the Giovanett family and focuses on high-quality wines from the South Tyrol region with a modern character.

The St. Magdalener Schallerhof already glows garnet red in our glass. In the nose, this wine combines the aromas of Vernatsch with the structure of Lagrein. On the nose, floral aromas of violets combine with fruity cherry aromas and almonds. Light herbal aromas are added. On the palate, it is fruity and fresh, with balanced acidity and beautiful spice.

A very harmonious red wine from South Tyrol that goes wonderfully with many dishes.
