A great rosé from Slovenia on the border between dry and semi-dry
The grapes grew on marl and clay in the Vogrsko and Brajda vineyards in the Vipava Valley. The Cabernet Sauvignon vines are extremely densely planted with 11,900 vines per hectare. The yield is only 40 hectoliters per hectare. For this organic rosé, Miha Batic only uses the best and most ripe grapes. The vines get the opportunity to put all their strength into the vines.
In 1987 the rosé wine came onto the market for the first time. It is produced in a traditional way by hand-picking and carefully selecting the grapes. Fermentation takes place spontaneously only with the grape's own yeast in stainless steel tanks. It is made in a dry way with just a touch of residual sugar.
In the bouquet there are subtle hints of wild strawberries, raspberries and herbs such as mint and pepper. The first impression in the mouth is a light body, pleasant acidity and delicious aromas of red berries.
One of the most complex rosé wines we know. He takes you on a journey of enjoyment. It is precisely this feeling that makes him so special.
