Out of respect for the traditional winemaking methods of the Vipava Valley, Miha Batic refrains from adding cultured yeasts during fermentation and relies on the spontaneous fermentation of the yeasts on the berries. The entire production process is closely linked to the phases of the moon. From the very beginning, Miha Batic has followed the moon with his Malvazija. He gives it his youth, his vitality and his special character.

Only the best grapes are used for this white wine, which borders on orange wine. Extremely low yields of exceptionally good quality grapes characterise the winemaking process at the Batic winery. Added to this is an incredible feeling for the wine and a deep respect for nature.

A thrilling scent hits the nose. Tropical fruits such as mango and fine citrus notes flow towards it. Ripe fruits. Quince compote. In the mouth, it is wonderfully fresh with a pleasant fullness.
