Warm, soft, dense - an extraordinary Merlot

At the beginning of October, five percent of the Merlot grapes are harvested for the grapes' own natural yeast. The selection and harvest of the Merlot grapes then takes place at the end of October. The grapes are macerated for thirty days. The unfiltered grape must is then poured into Slovenian oak barrels together with fine yeasts. There the wine developed its elegance in peace, without the influence of a human. Miha Batic only wants to intervene in the creation of the wines when nature demands it from him. His Demeter organic wines are absolutely unique.

In the glass, the red wine shows a deep ruby ​​red. In the nose we perceive an intense aroma that smells of ripe, dark red fruits, ripe cherries and fine spices due to the ripening in the wood. Raspberries in the taste, the scent of freshly baked plum cake with a gentle vanilla aroma and velvety tannins. An elegant, pure, dense and long-lasting wine. The aroma of the first taste remains and is reflected in pleasant scents.
