The new top cuvée from Miha Batic
Miha Batic has once again surpassed herself with the new Orange Wine Cuvée made from five different white wine varieties.
Batic Marlon is created, similar to the Batic Zaria. All five grape varieties grow together in the vineyard, so that the varieties are pollinated together. The same thought remains with the harvest, all grapes are harvested together to achieve perfect harmony. Isn't that risky? Doesn't every grape variety have its own requirements? Yes, such a vinification is only possible with great experience, an intense sensitivity for the grape varieties and a perfect vineyard. The result in the wine bottle is spectacular and stands completely on its own. For us as wine connoisseurs, this independence of an orange wine is exactly what we are looking for in wines. At Miha Batic we will also find it here.
The wine has a deep golden yellow color, a bit cloudy - a real natural wine. The bouquet is ripe, it smells of a lot of butter, maturation on yeast, no fruitiness, just maturity. The dry wine is slightly sweet and has a medium, almost powerful body. The fullness in the mouth is plentiful, the texture is soft, and the wine has a nice acidity. Harmonious, unique, long-lasting wine.
