Fine Slovenian natural wine Sipon

Furmint, known as Šipon in Slovenia, produces wonderfully crisp and sparkling white wines that are characterized by their elegance and freshness. The Sipon Classic from Matic was traditionally aged in a steel tank and filtered before bottling. This makes it a great entry-level natural wine and simply a nice, fresh white wine.

Tropical notes dominate on the palate, combined with hints of citrus fruits such as lemons and limes. Slovenian white wines made from the Sipon grape variety from this region always produce a nice fullness in the mouth, like biting into a lemon cake. This wine is true to the region and the style of Matic and has a nice salty note on the finish. The Sipon is a fantastic choice for fans of higher acid white wines who also enjoy drinking Riesling or Welschriesling. Try it.
