The pressed grapes remain on the mash for 18 hours without being destemmed, i.e. including the stalks, and extract the pronounced tannins. After pressing, the juice spontaneously ferments in used wooden barrels (300 l), where it matures for about 1 year. Vino Gross even welcomes the biological acid reduction, which is extremely unusual in the development of a Riesling.
Start of tropical fruits and smoky spice. Honeydew melon and kumquat. Straightforward and mean juicy on the palate. The fine acidity ensures lightness and drinking flow. Peach fruit and light extract sweetness. Carried by a salty-chalky body. Long and vibrant in the aftertaste. maturity potential!
