The combination of the two autochthonous grape varieties of Puglia, Bombino Bianco and Pampanuto, results in a fruity, fresh and yet expressive Italian white wine that is simply a delight. It can be enjoyed as an aperitif or to accompany fine starters and seafood. The Torrevento winery represents a perfect combination of innovation and tradition, with a clear focus on the region of Puglia and the grape varieties native to the area.
Torrevento Pezzapiana Castel del Monte was aged in stainless steel tanks, which gives it its fruitiness and freshness. In the glass, it appears straw-yellow with greenish highlights. On the nose, aromas of exotic fruits and citrus notes emerge, for which Bombino Bianco is known beyond the borders of Puglia. The fruity aromas are complemented by floral notes of wild flowers and a light herbal note. On the palate, this Italian white wine is beautifully soft, surprisingly intense and pleasantly fresh.
