This sweet Merlot from the Klet Brda wine cooperative in Slovenia is the perfect red wine for lovers of sweeter wines with lots of fruit. The grapes are harvested by hand and ripened in steel tanks. This gives Merlot its fruity, fresh character.
In the glass a deep red with violet reflections. On the nose aromas of ripe strawberries, plum compote and jam. Very soft, sweet and fruity in the mouth. Finely balanced in the aromas. Not too intense.
In combination with chocolate, various desserts and/or cheese, the sweet red wine from Slovenia goes perfectly. It highlights the aromas and gives them a new depth of flavor with its fruit, which brings great joy.
