Quercus Sauvignonasse Klet Brda 2024

Sauvignonasse, also known as green Sauvignon, is a regional white wine variety from Goriska Brda in Slovenia, known for its special aroma structure. At the Klet Brda winegrowers' cooperative, all grapes are harvested by hand. The Sauvignonasse is then matured entirely in steel tanks.

In the glass, it has a striking golden yellow colour with golden reflections. The Sauvignonasse is immediately recognisable on the nose. Aromas of meadow flowers, elderberry, pine needles and almonds. On the palate, the minerality comes to the fore, accompanied by only a slight acidity. Now the Quercus Sauvignonasse also reveals its body and complex aroma structure. The finish is long and the almond aroma in particular accompanies us to the end.

With Quercus Sauvignonasse, Klet Brda has produced a white wine that gives us exactly what we are often looking for: individuality, new worlds of aromas and richness. Chapeau!
