Movia's flagship red wine

The Veliko Rdece is a spectacular Bordeaux-style red wine cuvée. All the grapes in the cuvée start the maceration together, creating new aromatic synergies. A fusion of Merlot and smaller proportions of Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. As with all Movia wines, the biodynamically grown grapes are harvested as late as possible in order to optimally support the ripening process. After fermentation with their own yeasts, a 6 follows! years of maturation in barriques. During the long maturation period, a remarkably complex and mature wine emerges, which responds very well to further storage.

The color is medium deep, ruby ​​red and proudly shows the honorable age of the wine. Notes of black currants, cherries and sweet-spicy undertones indicate Bordeaux varieties that come from a fresh, cooler climate. They are complemented by notes of truffles, black chocolate, leather and fine oak. In the mouth it is dry with mature, flexible tannins and a silky texture. The aroma completely fills the mouth and offers a unique, long-lasting experience. Its full body, soft tannins and very elegant structure are further characteristics of the red wine experience that Ales Kristancic from the Movia winery offers us here.
