The red wine cuvée from Klet Brda, made from the international grape varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, is an excellent red wine for everyday drinking and a wide range of occasions.

The Klet Brda winegrowers’ co-operative comprises over 400 families from the Goriska Brda region, who joined forces over 50 years ago to produce and market the region’s wines together.

The grapes for the Merlot-Cabernet Sauvignon are harvested exclusively by hand. The wine is aged 60 per cent in stainless steel tanks and 40 per cent in oak barrels. In the glass, this red wine displays a ruby red colour with garnet-coloured highlights. Aromas of red berries, as well as plums and cherries, are discernible. It is youthful and fresh, yet distinct in its structure. Slightly perceptible tannins.
