The Vernatsch grape variety is synonymous with South Tyrolean red wine like no other. Some of the vines used to produce Castelfeder Vernatsch are up to 80 years old, giving this Italian wine its unique character.

The wine is aged in stainless steel to perfectly bring out the fruity, fresh aromas of the Vernatsch. Light ruby red in the glass. On the nose, sour cherry aromas accompanied by notes of almonds. Very stimulating. Fresh, juicy and finely structured on the palate. A pleasant acidity that emphasises its fresh character.

Enjoy Vernatsch young and slightly chilled, preferably with a nice snack, antipasti or roasted meat.
