Batic Cabernet Franc 2021

A great Cabernet Franc

Produced 100% from Cabernet Franc grapes from the Jazbine and Brajda vineyards in the coastal growing area of the Vipava Valley in Slovenia. The soil consists of marl, and the vines are planted with a density of 5,000 to 12,000 vines. The vines are already 35 years old. The yield is low due to the very high demands placed on the vineyards of the organic wine. Only the best of the best are harvested. Miha Batic does not use sulfur to make wine.

The Cabernet Franc has an excellent structure, full aromas and a strong body. It shows a deep ruby red. In addition to wild berries and herbs, we notice peppery notes in the fragrance. Smoky tones join in - what a red wine! Would you like to call. The notes from the bouquet continue in the mouth. It forms an elegant harmony with soft, silky tannins.

The finish is full - voluminous and so beautifully long. What a red wine pleasure!
