Malvazija aged in acacia and oak barrels

The golden grapes of Capris Malvazija grew on the Debeli Rtic peninsula near Ankaran in Slovenian Istria. Thanks to the balancing effect of the sea climate, this location is one of the best in Istria, especially for white wines.

After a short maceration and pressing, the must ferments in large oak barrels and partly in acacia and oak barriques, where the malolactic fermentation also takes place. The wine matures here for another 8 months. The quality of the grapes, together with this special maturation, results in a unique white wine full of wonderful aromas.

On the nose, it has an intense fruity-floral note reminiscent of ripe apples, acacia flowers, vanilla and almonds. The taste is full, juicy and fruity. On the palate, we experience a pleasant fruity and mineral freshness. The Vinakoper Capris Malvazija offers a wonderful harmony of freshness and elegance.

The finish pampers with a pleasant note of vanilla and bitter almond.
