Great rosé pét-nat from the Slovenian Styria

Pét-nat, short for the French pétillant-naturel, is an exciting type of sparkling wine. Pét-nat is used for natural sparkling wines, produced according to the ‘méthode ancestrale’. The sparkling wine is bottled before the first fermentation is complete and remains unfiltered.

Matic Mea Rosé Pet Nat is a sparkling pink-red wine made from the Blaufränkisch grape variety. It has a beautiful light pink shimmer in the glass and an exceptionally fresh nose with notes of cut citrus fruits, spring flowers and even freshly mown grass. It evokes the feeling of a walk on the first warm days of the year.

On the palate, we find a beautiful citrus-lime note, rounded off with a fine acidity that is characteristic of all Matic wines and typical of Blaufränkisch. The finish is wonderful with hints of cherry and bubble gum. A Pet-Nat that is simply fun and brings spring to your glass.
