Sauvignon Blanc, natural wine from Slovenia

The terraces of Korže, characterised by calcareous marl, form a south-facing basin, the steepest in the area. The vines are rooted directly in the rock. To plant the vines in this hard soil, it was necessary to dig deep holes with augers. The wine readily reveals its austere origins, allowing even the aromatic Sauvignon Blanc grape variety to take centre stage.

White aromas on the nose with tones of cold smoke and chalk dust, influenced by the Opok soil. Herbal spiciness of bay leaves and cloves. Fully ripe kiwi can also be found. Unfolds layer by layer on the palate without being overly obvious. Full of finesse and well balanced. Persists for a very long time. Great potential.
