As with Veliko Rdece, the different varieties of the cuvée – Ribolla Gialla, Sauvignon and Pinot Gris – are macerated and aged together to create a completely new wine in its own right.

The classic Movia style is to harvest as late as possible to ensure optimal ripening and flavour. The grapes are then fermented with their own yeasts and aged on the lees. Overall, the Veliko Belo matures for three and a half years in barrique barrels, resulting in a very complex and mature white wine.

As an orange wine, it is immediately recognisable by its deep golden colour. On the nose, there are hints of ripe melon, peach and citrus, as well as butter, honey and wildflowers. Very present orange peel.

Completely dry and wonderfully creamy in the mouth, with vibrant acids and gentle tannins.

The Movia winery's flagship white wine is a perfect example of an orange wine. Simply wonderful!
