The grapes for the Anzenas Cannonau di Sardegna come from vines that grow around the winery in southern Sardinia. The soils around Cagliari are characterised by clay and limestone. After the classic maceration, the wine matures in concrete tanks, which gives it a wonderful fruitiness and structure. The Anzenas Cannonau di Sardegna has a fruity nose with aromas of cherries, raspberries, plums, earthy notes, pepper, thyme and violets. A true Cannonau! On the palate, it is fleshy, juicy, very velvety, spicy fruit, powerful, charming and long-lasting.
