A full-bodied, deep and elegant Cabernet Sauvignon from Slovenia

90 points from wine critic Jeb Dunnuck and a gold medal at the AWC Vienna reflect the class of the Santomas Cabernet Sauvignon.

Hand-picked, table-selected grapes form the basis of the Santomas Antonius Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermentation takes place over 2-3 weeks, before the red wine from Slovenia begins the maturing process after several months on the yeast and fermentation. 24 months in new French 350L oak barrels.

The Cabernet Sauvignon shines at us in the glass with a deep ruby red with a violet touch. In the nose, ripe aromas reminiscent of pepper, coffee, chocolate, jam and leather emerge, rounded off by fine notes of blackberry and cherry. On the palate, a voluminous, full-bodied, dry red wine. Great structure, very elegant. Ripe, rich, juicy with round tannins.

A complex and unique Cabernet Sauvignon from the Santomas winery.
