Hand-picked and aged in large oak barrels, the Vinakoper winery presents a true red wine classic with its Koper Merlot.

In the glass, an intense dark ruby colour with brick-red nuances, as we like to see in the Merlot grape.

The bouquet is reminiscent of ripe sour cherries, mulberries, blackberries and a hint of vanilla and chocolate. A very well-rounded red wine bouquet. The power of the Merlot grape unfolds very pleasantly.

On the palate, the wine is soft and velvety, with the pleasant taste of ripe sour cherries and blackberries. It has a nice strength, but not too much intensity. Pleasantly ripe tannins and notes of Mediterranean spices round off the wine's enjoyment.

Whether in good company, for a barbecue or a romantic evening, this red wine is always a good choice at a very good price!
