The Pleterje Charterhouse has always produced traditional, natural wines and spirits according to its own philosophy. The monastery's rosé wine, made from the Blaufränkisch variety, is simply a delight.

It radiates towards us from the bottle in a light copper colour. The upcoming fruity berry notes are almost tangible. The scent of berries - raspberries, strawberries, currants and a hint of sour cherry. Slightly floral.

The Blaufränkisch grape variety produces a very pleasant freshness, combined with beautifully balanced acidity. The taste is fruity and soft. The result is a very harmonious picture.

Modra Frankinja Rosé is a tangy rosé for social gatherings, cosy evenings and as an accompaniment to barbecued food on warm summer days. A summer wine as it should be.
