Perfect for barbecues – Refosco Rosé – a real rarity from Slovenia

Only a very few vineyards in Istria produce this light rosé variety of the otherwise dark-coloured Refosco, an indigenous grape variety of the northern Adriatic that has been known for over 2,000 years.

To preserve its fruitiness and freshness, the Rosé Refosk is classically aged like a white wine.

In the glass, a sparkling light pink colour with cherry red nuances. We can already sense the fruitiness. On the nose, beautiful notes of raspberry, cherry, strawberry and other red fruits.

The exceptionally fresh character makes the wine very drinkable. In the mouth, you will find many fine aromas of fresh berries, red fruits, especially raspberries, cherries and red currants.
